Planned Outages

Proactive maintenance improves reliability

MTE's electric grid contains hundreds of thousands of mechanical, electrical, and technological pieces. Each one is important to provide reliable and safe electricity to our members. Daily use, weather events, and many other issues can damage our equipment causing them to fall.

We proactively schedule maintenance on every part of our 12,000+ miles of line and 35+ substations to prevent outages and allows us to strengthen our grid. Despite the inconvenience this may cause our members, proactive maintenance reduces the number of outages our members experience.
