Leadership

Serving members with local leadership

Middle Tennessee Electric is led by a democratically elected group of members called the Board of Directors. These directors are responsible for selecting the MTE president and CEO tasked with directing and managing employees during daily cooperative operations.

To help our members find the information they are looking for, we’ve put together some helpful information for members regarding our leadership.

As a not-for-profit electric cooperative, Middle Tennessee Electric (MTE) is a locally controlled and member-owned organization. MTE electric consumers are members of the cooperative and are encouraged to engage with the elected Board of Directors and cooperative employees.

Board of Directors

Senior leaders at MTE are responsible for the daily operation and management of the cooperative. Their roles provide direction for employees to complete the cooperative’s purpose, mission, and vision.

Senior Leadership

MTE's Board of Directors meet at least monthly.
