Come celebrate with us!
The 2025 Earth Day Celebration will be held on Saturday, April 26 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Rutherford County’s Historic Downtown Square.
Rutherford County’s Earth Day Celebration aims to educate and mobilize our community into action. This year’s theme, “Our Power, Our Planet,” highlights the importance of harnessing clean energy to build a sustainable future. The event aims to educate and inspire the community to reduce reliance on fossil fuels and promote clean energy solutions. It also emphasizes the collective “power” of individuals and communities to make a positive impact on the planet.
Every individual can contribute to environmental conservation and sustainability efforts. By coming together as a community, we can harness our collective power to protect and preserve our planet for future generations.

Additional Information
For the Earth Day Celebration to succeed, we need vendor participation. Please review all the information you need to apply and participate including the ‘Rules and Guidelines,' as some items have been updated from previous years. The application deadline is Friday, April 4, but we appreciate having the applications sooner to communicate with the public about booth participants in advance.
The Earth Day Celebration has evolved and grown since it began in 2002. Through the years, we've created a more engaging experience for those who attend. Live music, interactive booths with local environmentally friendly organizations, and an interactive Kids Zone are just some of the things we've added to make this event better.
