Solar Interconnection Documents

MTE requires all new or expansion residential solar installations to have an interconnection application and agreement filled out, signed, and approved before beginning construction. MTE will have an engineer review the specifications and drawings to ensure a safe interconnection and make sure there are no service upgrades required. Members are responsible for any upgrade requirement costs. These documents help ensure a smooth and easy installation process for the contractors and members.

If your system is larger than 50 kW or you are installing it commercially, please contact Tim Suddoth directly for additional steps and requirements. His contact information is below.
